How to Use Cakta AI

Get started in 3 simple steps

Get Your API Key

Before you can use Cakta AI, you need an API key from OpenRouter. This connects you to powerful AI models like GPT-4o, Claude, and more.

1. Go to openrouter.ai and create an account
2. Navigate to Keys and generate a new API key
3. Copy the key (starts with sk-or-v1-...)

You only need to do this once. Your key is saved in your browser.

Enter Your API Key in Settings

Once logged in, open the Settings (gear icon in the sidebar) and paste your API key.

You can also choose which AI model to use and adjust settings like temperature and response length.

Use the paste button next to the input fields for quick pasting.

Start Chatting

Type your message in the input box and press Enter or click the send button. That's it!

You can ask questions, request code, write content, translate text, and much more. Use the Tools sidebar to access 45+ specialized AI tools.

Using Tools

Click the Tools icon in the sidebar to browse 45+ AI tools organized by category:

Coding

Code Generator, Bug Fixer, Test Generator, API Generator, and 11 more coding tools.

Text

Summarizer, Grammar Checker, Translator, Paraphraser, Email Writer, Blog Writer.

Creative

Brainstormer, Story Generator, Product Namer, Tone Adjuster.

Data & DevOps

JSON Formatter, CSV Converter, Dockerfile Generator, GitHub Actions, and more.

Click any tool, fill in the form, and the AI will generate results using that tool's specialized prompt.

Custom Agents

Create your own AI agents with custom names, personalities, avatars, and tools. Agents are like specialized assistants you can reuse.

Click Create Agent in the sidebar to build one. You can even embed agents on external websites using the embed code generator.

Export & History

All your chats are automatically saved in the sidebar. Click any chat to reload it. Use the download button in the header to export your current chat as a Markdown file.
